About the role

In your newrole you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a consistently highquality product to all of our customers and guests. You will be passionate with contemporary& classical culinary skills and work closely with the kitchen brigade todeliver a quality product with the highest standards of food hygiene.


  • Ensure all food production is in line with food and company standards
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of quality, well-presented food to our customers
  • Work effectively within the kitchen brigade to ensure high quality customer service standards
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of food, hygiene and safety principles


  • Ability to work a flexible 7 dayroster, start and finish times may vary according to business demands
  • At least 2 years previous experienceas a Demi Chef or strong experience in a Commis Chef role
  • It is essential that you have atminimum a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience working in a la carte,buffet and high volume catering kitchens
  • Ability to coach and train experience
  • Ability and desire to motivate a team
  • Fluent in the English language inorder to communicate professionally with guests and team members, both inperson and over the telephone
  • A passion for delivering exceptionalguest experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to resolveproblems and conflict, and work effectively under pressure
  • Well-presented and calm personality

It would beadvantageous for you to demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Demonstratedexperience working as a Demi Chef within a hotel
