About the role

In your new role of Food & Beverage Attendant in Room Service you will be responsible for managing your own time and using your initiative to deliver a high standard product whilst offering high levels of guest satisfaction.


  • Handle all customer enquiries with a professional telephone manner and demonstrate high standards of customer service
  • Perform duties with a high level of positive guest service. Ensure that the guest is the first priority at all times – be pro-active with their needs
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Understand the menu content and any menu changes
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and well prepared service area
  • Have the ability to confidently prepare and present Room Service meals


  • Must have a current and valid ProvideResponsible Service of Alcohol certificate
  • Previous Food & Beverage service experience
  • Fluent in the English language inorder to communicate professionally with guests and team members, both inperson and over the telephone
  • A passion for delivering exceptionalguest experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to resolveproblems and conflict, and work effectively under pressure
  • Good organisational skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Well-presented and calm personality
  • A passion for delivering exceptionallevels of guest service

It would beadvantageous for you to demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Demonstratedexperience working in Room Service within a hotel
  • Knowledgeof Micros
