About the role

In your newrole as Food & Beverage Services Manager, you will be responsible formanaging the performance of all Food and Beverage operations within the HiltonAdelaide. You will manage and supportyour team with daily activities, and ensure brand service standards are met tothe highest quality. You will be responsible for leading and developing yourteam to ensure a consistent high level of service.

Duties/responsibilities

  • Manageand support the overall strategic management of Food and Beverage operations
  • Managethe team, ensuring that brand standards are met and guest expectationsare exceeded
  • Driverevenues whilst maintain costs in line with budget expectations
  • Useyour knowledge of local trends to strategies action plans to achieve financialtargets
  • Assistwith strategic planning to achieve financial targets and mitigate anyshortfalls in revenues
  • Evaluate levels of guest satisfaction with a focus on continuousimprovement
  • Resolveconflicts and issues where necessary
  • Train,coach and develop team members
  • Ensure your teammaintains a professional manner and are up to date with VIP guest movements,hotel events, local attractions and activities

Skills/experience

  • Atleast 3 years’ experience in a Food and Beverage Management role
  • Must have acurrent and valid Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
  • Provenexperience in managing budgets and cost control
  • Salesdriven with a strong commercial acumen
  • Fluentin the English language in order to communicate professionally with guests andteam members, both in person and over the telephone
  • Apassion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Demonstratedability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressure
  • Demonstratedsuccess in the Food and Beverage industry, and an ability to meet financialtargets
  • Well-presented,organised and calm personality
  • Indepth knowledge of the hotel, leisure and/or service sector
