We are now actively seeking the skills of a highly motivated and driven Field Sales Representative for our Southern Region of New South Wales and surrounding areas, with a concentrate base in Albury / Wodonga. Reporting into the Regional Industrial Sales Manager, this role will focus on the promotion of Industrial products to generate profitable growth within the Industrial Business within our region. You will have the skills and experience to engage confidently with a diverse customer base including EU, OEM and contractors. Success also demands high levels of collaboration and co-ordination with the existing Channel Management teams.

Key requirements for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating and nurturing relationships within a geographic account base

  • Identify and developing new business opportunities within allocated accounts

  • Achieving individual quota of sales for all allocated products and services

  • Generating solution orientated proposals aligned to customer requirements

  • Conducting relevant corporate and product training/presentations to customers

  • Preparing regular reports on business calls and related activities including, questions in regards to products and sales trends for analysis by management

Success in this role will require the following attributes as a minimum

  • Ideally you will possess a tertiary or trade qualifications business, engineering or IT with a proven track record in major end user development

  • Your must understand and demonstrate the principles and development of strategies required to secure complex sales including the capability of taking a long term view of business, the needs of business to business services as opposed to product sales

  • You will have solid business acumen developed through proven experience, exposure and success

  • This role requires an unquestionable ‘can do’ individual who investigates all possibilities and always follows up

  • Understands the value and strategic importance of major end user customers including the ability to identify opportunities for the business incorporating the full offer of products and services.

  • Ability and willingness to travel to varied locations as required

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
