As a Capital Markets Analyst, you’ll often be responsible for:

  • Supporting Delivery of Accenture’s Capital Markets capabilities and solutions to our clients;

  • Gathering and validating business requirements, functional specifications and use cases for business and technology projects and programs;

  • Supporting the Delivery Lifecycle and creating value through a range of roles including business analysis, data analysis, technology integration, testing, and implementation;

  • Helping to build an understanding of our clients’ business and participating in identifying solutions for their business needs within the Accenture Capital Markets team;

  • Creating and managing project deliverables in a consulting environment related to work supporting delivery of cost efficiency, operational excellence and customer centric front to back operations for organisations within the following industries:

  • Corporate & Investment Banking;

  • Trading Services;

  • Wealth Management;

  • Asset Management;

  • Retirement Savings;

  • Developing trusted relationships with clients and internal experts as part of project delivery;

  • Analysing quantitative and qualitative data; and

  • Support project management in the development of schedule, analysis, presentations and other materials.


You will have experience with some of the following:

  • Finance Services industry knowledge including current trends & challenges, market dynamics and competitive landscape;

  • Previous experience in one or more of the industries listed in the section above;

  • Proven ability to become knowledgeable in new technologies in a short time frame;

  • Knowledge of the key financial processes and operational workflows of your industry of experience;

  • Hands-on experience from implementing IT solutions and / or redesigning processes in the Financial Services and/or Capital Markets area, gained either directly in the industry or in a leading consultancy; and

  • Proven ability to work within and collaboratively contribute to success in a team-oriented environment.



Preferred Skills:

  • An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.

  • Experience eliciting high-level business requirements and creating detailed functional specs and other documentation, such as requirement traceability matrices, work-flow diagrams and use-cases

  • The ability to develop creative and breakthrough solutions.

  • Experience working through organisational change.

  • Analytical and highly detail oriented.

  • An awareness of key methodologies, approaches and market trends in the industry.

  • Knowledge of the main regulatory frameworks.

  • Strong interpersonal, team building, organizational and motivational skills.
