Volvo Group Aftersales Representative in Bohle, Australia

Volvo Group Australia is seeking an Aftersales Representative to join our Townsville Dealership. In this newly created role, you will be passionate about always delivering a high level of customer service with a professional manner and have a broad knowledge of automotive parts. You will be provided with full product training to support your success in servicing our current customer base to promote our brand and increase market share across the region.

Our customers are at the forefront of all that we do, hence this role requires the successful candidate to travel across the region covering approximately 200km two days per week. This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis with an attractive remuneration package, including incentive plan and access to a company vehicle. Domestic relocation assistance may be offered for the right candidate.

About the role:

  • To promote and market parts to all potential customers and increase market coverage across the Region

  • Assist in the Parts Sales growth related business planning, including new products and services

  • Develop and implement customer retention and growth programs in consultation with the Aftersales Manager

  • Carry out systematic follow up of clients to maintain business relationships and secure new clients

  • Increase market share through customer prospecting and product diversification

  • Develop and assist with combined parts and service promotions and sales activities aimed at improved and sustained growth

  • Represent the Dealership and our Brands with local trade associations and groups across the Region.

About you:

  • Solid work experience in the automotive industry

  • Possess a mechanical aptitude or be trade qualified

  • A good knowledge of Heavy Vehicle parts highly desirable

  • Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills

  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal

  • Flexible team player with an excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent presenting and negotiating skills

  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to pick up new systems quickly

  • Valid and clean QLD Driver's Licence

  • Valid and clean QLD HR Truck Licence or willingness to obtain.
