Oracle Business Intelligence is the most comprehensive business intelligence (BI) platform available today, addressing the full spectrum of business intelligence needs, including interactive dashboards, ad hoc analysis, proactive intelligence and alerts, advanced reporting and publishing, real-time predictive analytics, and mobile analytics.
The BI team works with Cloud Platform Group and Applications account teams to build analytic solutions for Oracle customers. These advanced BI and Analytics solutions address Prevasive BI, Operational BI, and industry specific analytics across most industries and operation lines of business. We are looking to hire a Senior Sales Executive to join our team in Brisbane
Key Selection Criteria
Must have a minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the Business Intelligence / Analytics Solutions marketplace with the ability to gain credibility with customers in the sales cycle and build the value proposition with business and IT.
Must have proven success in selling Business Intelligence/ Analytics solutions on top of ERP/Back-Office processes and solutions.
Must possess relevant industry domain expertise to uncover and articulate ROI equations that directly address customer business problems across industries.
Must have strong skills in differentiating competitive Business Intelligence and Analytics offerings with the ability to clearly articulate our "unique" advantages to specific customer needs.
Must be able to understand and articulate the differences of pre-built Analytic Applications (buy) vs. stand-alone Business Intelligence products (build). Must be able to position and sell both.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team-selling environment. Channel sales experience will be considered favourably.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of technology sales experience. Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development. Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle
