Works with Leadership team, Sales, Delivery, HR, Finance and other functions on commercial matters, especially on IT consulting agreements in Australia.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:
Work with Market Units management, business development executives, technology group, Talent Communities, HR, Finance, other transactional lawyers and other stakeholders in developing, structuring and negotiating IT transactions clarifying and balancing risk and reward in relation to the service offerings and individual customer arrangements, and mitigating risk to protect the company’s assets and profitability.
Structure, review, draft and negotiate IT consulting arrangements in Australia
Lead negotiations of a variety of IT transactions.
Provide legal, commercial, compliance and risk training to the Australian business teams.
Manage external counsel as necessary.
Manage a part-time legal intern
Collaborate on Global and regional projects.
Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND (EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)
Excellent academic credentials.
Relevant broad experience (4- 6 years) in providing legal advice on technology and consulting, in law firm and/or fast-paced corporate multinational legal group environments.
