Sandvik Conveyor Components is a leading supplier of materials handling equipment and is part of a global business. We are currently looking for a Sales Manager with a strategic mindset to contribute to its success. As a Sales Manager based in Brisbane and responsible for the East Coast, you will be responsible for the achievement of sales and profit goals focusing on both project and aftermarket opportunities. Our company has more than 50 years' experience in providing a full range of conveyor component products and services. We specialise in idlers, rollers, frames, pulleys, cleaners and associated services.
This position will build effective relationships with key decision makers to develop business opportunities in the sales area. The Sales Manager will prospect and drive the lead generation process through an opportunity pipeline and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) supported by a team of sales professionals.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketing and sales manager looking to demonstrate leadership qualities, technical expertise and excellent marketing and sales skills as well as maintain great relationship with existing clients and develop new potential clients. You will need to have enthusiasm and sales passion to deliver results within the Mining and Underground sector.
Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
Managing the Sales team and their marketing activities
Implementing strategies to achieve sales targets
Improving market share and competitive position through business growth and development
Reporting on market intelligence, competitor activity and market trends
Developing sales of new products
Deliver sales staff training and development
We are looking for someone with a high level of sales experience, preferably in a management capacity together with broad knowledge of Conveyor Components. The successful candidate will also demonstrate sales management capacity within the Mining, Materials Handling or similar industries. Well developed communication and presentation skills along with a strong commercial acumen are also required for this role.
