About SAP Ariba
SAP Ariba is the leading provider of collaborative business commerce solutions. SAP Ariba combines industry-leading technology with the world's largest web-based trading community to help companies discover, connect, and collaborate with a global network of partners - all in a cloud-based environment . Using the Ariba Commerce Cloud, businesses of all sizes can buy, manage cash, and sell more efficiently and effectively. More than 500,000 companies around the globe use the Ariba Commerce Cloud to simplify inter-enterprise commerce and enhance results.
Global commerce today requires much more than emailing, scanning or faxing key documents such as purchase orders, invoices, and payment remittances. For better commerce, companies must establish real time electronic collaboration with their entire supply base on a global level, so they can dramatically compress the invoice and payment processing cycle, comply with contracts and regulations, achieve working capital breakthroughs that lower supply chain risk, and more. But few organizations can effectively target and onboard thousands of global suppliers. SAP Ariba has this expertise, with outsource-service capabilities and self-service tools to automate the enablement process for any supplier anywhere in the world. We can help companies match their vendors to existing Ariba Network suppliers and onboard new suppliers, or provide tools for them to manage the process on their own.
The Seller Integrator’s primary function is to help in the delivery of multiple projects related to integrated supplier enablement on the Ariba Network that allows buyers to transact with their sellers via an electronic (cXML, EDI) method. Integration, described in an extremely summarized way, means system to system transacting via Ariba Network, and the Seller Integrator facilitates the projects that are required prior to these integrated transactions.
The Seller Integrator will focus on partnering with cross-functional SAP Ariba supplier enablement teams to establish a successful Buyer - Supplier enablement program for the integrated seller work stream.
Key tasks include dealing with both Customers and Sellers of the Ariba Network and to integrate ERP’s of Sellers with the Ariba Network based on the customers’ requirements, troubleshooting technical errors and working closely with Ariba clients over the phone.
This role requires a good understanding of business, project management and technical areas, and whilst this is not a development role, or a project manager role, a sound understanding along with previous experience/knowledge in EDI and/or cXML is a plus.
