Regional Revenue & Distribution Manager


Wyndham Hotel Group in the South Pacific is looking for a Regional Revenue & Distribution Manager to come and join their team.

This is an ideal position for anyone with a passion for hotel Revenue Management; this might be someone who is currently a Revenue Manager or even a strong reservations manager who is looking to enhance their career. This position will be assisting with the implementation of revenue, and distribution strategies for Wyndham Hotel Group (WHG) and WorldMark Club. It will also help to achieve and exceed where possible the revenue targets as budgeted for each property, with primary emphasis on hotel occupancies & room rate and secondary importance on food, beverage and other revenue streams at each hotel.

What else is involved?

  • Help maintain and amend accordingly the dynamic pricing modules for each property to ensure effective yield management

  • Assist with the management and distribution of rates through various channels and systems e.g. l Property Management System, Booking Engines (Hi-Site, Booking Button), Channel Managers & Extranet

  • Ensure properties have current knowledge for all relevant processes, policies and promotions, as necessary, to perform their duties

  • Daily knowledge of all sales activity at WHG and Worldmark Club properties to ensure effective yield management is in place to achieve/exceed budgets and forecasts

  • Work collaboratively with partners to achieve a greater distribution through OTA’s and other online channels and 3rd party websites

  • Help monitor/enhance hotel yield management on 3rd party websites e.g. wotif.com, Expedia, Agoda etc.

What do you need?

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Ability to work with other divisions & managers within the company

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally & in writing

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • An understanding of the Hospitality and Property Industries (preferred Hotel experience)

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with PMS and Channel Management Systems

  • Excellent time management, organization & presentation skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • A Team player, willing to be flexible in tasks and hours worked as the role and deadlines require.
