The successful applicant will work with a team of contract and supply chain specialists to deliver whole-of-life integrated solutions for Defence. The successful applicant will partner with our Business Development and Capture teams to support Raytheon Australia’s integrated mission solutions for the Australian Defence Force. This includes programs for Surface Ships, Submarines, Joint Battlespace Systems and Mission Support as well as training solutions for both Defence and civil customers. You will contribute to overall business performance and growth by engaging in enterprise wide collaboration to deliver the full range of commercial support services for company business development opportunities and captures. Key Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise and leadership for business development opportunities Expertly advise and guide Capture Managers and Business Development personnel in customer procurement policy and regulations, contractual requirements and company policies and procedures Serve as the primary point of contact, for both customers and suppliers, during all phases of business development activities and tender processes, including clarification and offer definition activities, and negotiations Skills, Experience and Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in law, or business Extensive knowledge of procurement and contracts requirements across the program life cycle Effective negotiator, with capability to develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations Excellent interpersonal, communication and technical writing skills. Self-motivated, with an ability to learn quickly and work independently and as part of a multi-functional team Ability to influence results and build effective working relationships within the company and with external stakeholders Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
