Primary Location: Australia (AU) - Queensland (AU-QLD) - Crestmead Function: Information TechnologyTitle: Systems Analyst - 28248 Your Position:
As the Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance, information, and support for various John Deere Financial systems in addition to developing applications and reports, testing system integrity, analysing data, and advanced problem solving. Specifically you will:
Test system integrity, analyse data, extract and validate data, problem solves errors and document results.
Provide second level software support for John Deere Financial applications.
Assist with the installation, development, maintenance and control of John Deere Financial's user applications, reports, software, hardware systems and network operations, including detecting problems and initiating corrective actions.
Develop applications and reports, design advanced SQL query and utilise advanced relational database client/server configuration experience.
Complete special projects, including project planning, definition, analysis, design, testing, implementation and operation.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints.
Understanding of database administration, database design.
Software programming skills necessary to create and maintain host based and/or web based applications.
Ability to analyse, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions.
Business Process Knowledge of assigned area(s) and/or function(s).
Previous experience in programming/software development. (1 - 3 years)
Experience with applications, computing and networking. (1 - 3 years)
Information technology experience and/or business experience. (4 - 7 years)
Work experience in a team environment. (1- 3 years)
A Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience will be highly regarded in this position.
