Eaton Corporation Product Manager in Mascot, Australia

Position Overview

Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, this position is primarily responsible for growing Kyoritsu agency sales within Electrical Wholesale and Value Added Reseller channels. In addition to commercial objectives, there is a major focus on developing product growth strategies in conjunction with other Eaton product portfolios.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the Kyoritsu Test & Measurement portfolio to assist sales in achieving profit plan and growth objectives

  • Develop strategies to gain entry into new markets and to grow market share in existing markets

  • Train the sales teams to effectively select and offer the correct products for various applications

  • Provide technical support to sales teams and customers

  • Control inventory to ensure sufficient stock to satisfy sales demand whilst ensuring stock turns are kept within forecast

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns and promotions for the product portfolio

  • Manage price lists and marketing materials

  • Provide assistance to sales teams in tender responses

  • Conduct product line business planning, including Profit Plan & Strategic Plan

  • Provide competitor intelligence including market share analysis and reporting

  • Ensure compliance to Australian / IEC standards

  • Oversee all new product launches

  • Maintain Business Systems Data – (SKUs, price, etc)

QualificationsMinimum Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as a Product Manager

  • Experience in:

  • Competitive benchmarking of features and price

  • New product requirement definition

  • Business plan development

  • Value proposition development

  • Product launches

  • Sales collateral development

  • Sales training

  • Ability to impress in customer meetings and presentations

    Additional Requirements

  • Experience with industrial electrical switchgear products

  • Strategic mindset

  • Focus on market conditions and customers

  • Subject matter expertise in 4 P’s (Product, Price, Promotion, Place)

  • Ability to follow through with projects and strategies
