In this exciting role you will join a growing team of Sales professionals who work closely with Communications Service Providers (CSPs) and delivery teams. Coming from a strong Field Sales background in the Telecommunications industry you will be responsible for sales of Consulting Services to CSPs in the India & SAGE region. Experience in Telco sales and knowledge of OSS and BSS products is a must. As a recognized authority and leading contributor, this sales professional is responsible for selling Oracle’s value-based products and services. Work is non-routine and very complex requiring independent judgment, involving the application of advanced sales skills and mature relationships with Oracle stakeholders. Develops and manages sales strategy to drive new consulting bookings and revenue for a given region, territory or set of accounts. Exercises judgment and business acumen when working with customer executives to address their unique business challenges through Oracle applications and solutions.
Develops relationship as a trusted advisor with the customer, serving as the main point of contact, for communications through the sales process. Influences key decision makers who may affect sales outcomes. Maintains an on-going relationship with the customer following the initial sale to identify additional project opportunities that extend Oracle’s footprint. Works with partners, alliances, license sales, and other internal Oracle organizations. Provides direction and mentoring to less experienced sales team members. Ability to travel as required.
Position is responsible for selling consulting and/or outsourcing servicing. Client contact is typically with executive and senior executive level. Able to network and develop strong business relationships.
Responsible for generating leads and submitting proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle’s services. Primary job function is to nurture and close the sale.
As a member of the Consulting Organization’s Sales team, you will:
Be responsible for generating leads and closing deals selling Oracle Consulting Services. This will depend not only on your ability to develop strong relationships with client executives but also across Oracle.
Be responsible for qualifying and developing value add propositions for the customer.
Be responsible for your accounts from Opportunity to Cash.
Telecommunications Industry experience
Consulting Sales experience
Knowledge of OSS and BSS products
10 years Field Sales experience
Possess B.S. degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
Knowledge of SBC, STP or DSC products

Responsible for sales of Oracle consulting services.
Responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.
8-12 years of relevant field sales experience. Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs. Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
