Job Description:


This ANZ Field Marketing role reports to the Global VP of Marketing and is responsible for managing the strategy, alignment and deployment for programs in the Australia and New Zealand Markets for Virtustream. This role offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate to influence the development and launch of our marketing efforts in the ANZ region while focusing on general marketing programs that drive revenue for our offerings that run mission critical applications in the cloud.

The Ideal candidate must be a self-starter able to work in a fast paced environment. Must also must possess a high level of business experience and acumen, have a proven general marketing background with strong events experience and the ability to work effectively with internal and third party vendors and other cross functional teams to deliver high caliber programs that drive demand and assist the sales teams and the company in achieving set revenue objectives.

Critical Hiring Criteria:


  • Liaise with the Global Corporate Marketing team members from Corporate Communications, Field Marketing, Creative Services, and Product Marketing for efficient strategic planning and coordination of the launch of ANZ campaigns that coincide with the existing Program calendar and product releases.

  • Develop unique value propositions and messaging for localized marketing assets and promotional literature for regional impact and sales enablement.

  • Supporting digital marketing programs including email, search engine marketing, display advertising, social media and the evolving and interactive communications landscape

  • Support the local coordination of the Global Channel Partner Program Strategy to include Service Providers, Systems Integrators, VARs and the Dell EMC family of businesses.

  • Responsible for managing and updating the regional ANZ budget and managing department expenses. Must be able to track and report on ROI for all programs on a monthly and annual basis.

  • Direct management of agencies (including PR, Creative, etc.) and third party suppliers.

  • Driving ongoing process improvements, creating automated and optimized solutions and reporting where possible.


  • Four year college degree required; marketing or related field preferred, MBA a plus.

  • 5-10 years’ experience in Field or General Marketing

  • Candidate must have a broad knowledge of the Dell EMC family of businesses and IT channel segments, including business drivers and requirements.

  • Understanding of high tech marketing including SaaS, IaaS, server virtualization and Cloud Computing in general.

  • Personable, presentable and articulate.

  • Effective project management skills

  • Exceptional communication skills & strong administration and organizational skills.

  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, Knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot a plus.
