Your Opportunity

A new and exciting opportunity has recently become available for you to join Cargill Australia as the Grainflow Project Supervisor in Melbourne. This role reports to the Build Project Manager and is responsible for supervising & executing on multiple projects across 22 grain storage and handling sites along the east coast of Australia and into South Australia. The role will also maintain and develop key stakeholder relationships and ensuring a high level of service is provided.

In addition, you will also be responsible for:

  • Identifying project specifications

  • Managing projects to ensure business plan growth objectives are met in a safe and efficient manner

  • Maintaining regular contact with suppliers and procurement areas.

Qualifications

All about you

To be successful in this role you will bring with you:

  • Engineering Degree (Mechanical / Civil /Electrical / Trade Certification)

  • 2-5 years Construction Project Management Experience

  • Preferred experience in grain operation and project management

  • Project management expertise

  • Ability to assess needs, analyse risk and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Ability to manage multiple project dimensions – timelines, budget, supplier management

  • Effective collaborative skills, demonstrated ability to work across work groups and multiple levels of stakeholders

  • Strong business acumen

  • Ability to coordinate teams effectively to achieve outcomes

  • Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of recipients – from casual staff members to senior management

  • Change management expertise

  • Results orientated

  • Travel up to 50% of time
