Responsibilities:

  • Managea group of NetSuite’s existing mid-market customers in your assignedvertical/s. As the main advocate for your accounts, you are responsible forensuring that your accounts are fully leveraging NetSuite and that their needsare being met by the company.

  • Developindustry specific knowledge and expertise and effectively articulate theNetSuite value proposition for all NetSuite offerings

  • Workcross–functionally with other departments, including sales, sales support,billing teams, support, professional services and product management, toaddress the needs and issues of your assigned accounts. Coordinate executiveinvolvement, as necessary. Convert customer problems into sales opportunities.

  • Achieveand exceed your sales quota by renewing your assigned accounts, sellingadditional modules and services to expand the NetSuite footprint across thecustomers’ organizations.

  • Continueto maintain and grow an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet monthly andquarterly quota objectives.

  • Developannual territory and account plans with your assigned accounts to meet theirneeds. Maintain and expand relationships with key contacts in your account basethrough frequent onsite customer meetings.

  • Provideaccurate and timely reporting of all relevant customer information, activitiesand sales forecasts using NetSuite CRM.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Trackrecord of success as a top performer. Must have continually achieved and/orexceeded assigned quotas and goals.

  • Experience selling enterprise or applicationsoftware. Adept at managing complex sales processes with multiplestakeholders.

  • Mustenjoy building and nurturing relationships and solving customer problems.

  • Experienceworking with and selling to c level executives and management at 250 personcompanies.

  • Utilizesan established sales methodology and process to qualify opportunities, conductdiscovery, present solutions and negotiate and close deals.

  • Experiencedeveloping annual account plans to drive strategic sales cycles and establishagreed upon goals and initiatives with customers.

  • Verystrong communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstratedsuccess working internally to accomplish corporate and individual goals. Viewedby peers as a strong team player and collaborator and as someone who gets stuffdone and always delivers against what is promised.

  • Tenaciousand focused with a customer service attitude.

  • Attentionto detail and a sense of urgency is a must.

  • Collegedegree from a top university. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to small-and-medium sized accounts. The role is a combination of a Field Sales Rep and Inside Sales Rep.

Works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory. Territory may be combination of geographic, product, industry and other customer / market dimensions. Sells to the territory directly or via partners. The territory that this rep covers does not have an Inside Sales Rep or Field Rep. Utilizes inbound and/or outbound techniques to identify, qualify and close new opportunities. Manages accounts throughout the entire sales process, and collaborates with team members in business development, consulting and support to uncover all customer needs. Responsible for understanding Oracle's product offerings and competitive issues to develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Travels to customer sites to identify / develop sales opportunities. Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition. Onsite customer presentation with C-levels to negotiate and close strategic and complex deals. Liaises with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities and maximizing sales.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. Failure to obtain results would have serious consequences and need expenditure of resources. May have a project lead role. Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travels to customer as needed. 5 years relevant sales experience. BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.
