The Mercer Super Trust (MST) in Australia representsapproximately 230 corporate clients, 215,000 members and over US$16 billion infunds under management.

The purpose of this position is to manage a program or workacross multiple critical initiatives and work streams by ensuring adisciplined, process-oriented, and strategic methodology for improving Mercer’sdelivery performance on critical projects.

The role resides within the Product Management team and responsibilitiesinclude managing all aspects of Product- related projects and supporting PMOprogram managers and senior PMs in the management of components of broader workprograms. You may develop project plans, manage project budgets, determinedeadlines, assign task members, delegate tasks/responsibilities, evaluate theprojects, provide problem resolution, manage resources, provide businessanalysis support and develop and present results to senior management.

We seek applications from experienced project managers with ideallyprevious experience within superannuation,insurance and/or financial services. You will be adept at managing projectsfrom set up (including governance structures and stakeholder meetings), projectplanning and defining of metrics – through to project execution and subsequentclosure.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrable end-to-end project management experience across varied, multiple projects within Superannuation, Insurance and/or Financial Services

  • Outstanding rapport building, problem solving and influencing capability: to liaise with effectively with the team and a wide range of senior stakeholders across the business to meet business outcomes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong facilitation and consensus building skills

  • Formal project management qualification will be highly regarded but not essential

  • Strong PC skills including MS Excel and MS Project

  • Strong projectmanagement skills with understanding of advanced project management practicesrelated to the line of business

  • Business acumen,flexibility to changing business needs, and an ability to manage financials forin-depth understanding of project status
