As a Sales and Marketing Intern (Inside Sales Coordinator) inJacobs, your role is diverse and includes developing sales material,coordination of pursuit teams, to market research and analysis. With majorprojects like the Metro Tunnel, West Gate Tunnel Project and Level CrossingRemoval Project, come and help Jacobs create a more connected and sustainableworld.

About the opportunity

The Inside Sales team is the glue within the Jacobs business that linksSales and Delivery to develop compelling sales collateral. We touch and engagewith every aspect of Jacobs meaning there is never a dull moment.

Partnering with our sales leads and technical specialists you’lltranslate important concepts into compelling sales and marketing materials—frompresentations, capability statements, videos through to complex proposalsubmissions.

As an Inside Sales Coordinator, your role is diverse and focussed fourkey areas:

  • Researchand Analysis

  • SalesMaterial Development

  • OpportunityResponse Co-ordination

  • KnowledgeManagement.

Juggling people and their time, your focus is always on the end goaldelivery of the final product. The role requires great time management, abilityto work with different personalities, and very strong written and verbalcommunications skills. Ability to plan is a must.

This role provides an excellent basis for any business career. You’lllearn the corporate environment, commercial constructs, and the solution salesprocess. At Jacobs you’ll also touch on a wide variety of industries and learnthe intricacies across each. We also have many special projects going on thatyou’ll be able to help out with – most are game-changing within Jacobs and theindustry.


  • Your area of focus at University in business,commerce, marketing, communications, journalism, arts or a mix. You must havestrong written and verbal skills.

  • An eye for detail is essential

  • You are personable and form professionalrelationships quickly

  • You must be tenacious and have a ‘never give up’outlook on your day-to-day

  • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills areadvantageous

  • Complete your degree in 2018

  • Have the ability to work independently and in ateam to learn from another perspective

  • Be able to commence on 27 November 2017 and workthrough to March 2018

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
