Red Hat's Operations team is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to join us in Melbourne, Australia. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring that Red Hat’s sales goals are met in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. On a daily basis, you'll oversee the activities related to sales and partner operations and data operations while developing support systems and process controls for the sales team. As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you’ll need to have solid focus on processes and analytical skills.
Primary job responsibilities
Analyze, define, and improve current systems and processes to increase efficiency and productivity in the field
Maintain and coordinate key functions for core processes related to order management and lead-to-cash workflows
Work with the global infrastructure technology team to define and implement systems and tools that enable efficient and scalable processes
Guide operational optimization and simplification into new and existing sales processes and facilitate forecast and pipeline measurement activities with the sales directors
Coordinate with the Sales team and relevant business teams like Finance, IT, Marketing, and Legal to ensure clear communication and business success
Produce revenue reports and analysis
Troubleshoot existing processes and resolve issues logged by users
Offer cross-functional support involving various stakeholders
Own the processes and procedures for the customer relationship management (CRM), including the use of Salesforce.com
Document the business process, requirements, and potential solutions
Manage a geographically distributed team tasked with delivering a high level of customer service and business insight to the sales regions and leadership team and supporting the regional teams in large, strategic, or complex opportunities
Build a repository of competitive information, proposals, and RFP responses that can be used across all of the sales teams, while ensuring consistency across strategic programs, rules of engagement, sales engagement, business planning, and sales programs
Measure business metrics and pipeline conversion metrics to improve forecast accuracy; assist with regional planning activities and using cross-functional resources to create, develop, and deliver sales-ready insight and analysis
7+ years of applicable work experience
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
Advanced skills in using office systems like spreadsheets or word processors
Ability to prioritize tasks and organize work in order to meet goals and reach expectations
Competence in providing a quality service from the perspective of stakeholders and their interests
Ability to work as part of a team while demonstrating flexibility and initiative
Talent for working in a fast paced environment
Capacity to maintain positive outlook and attitude in difficult and challenging circumstances
Background in sales administration is an advantage
Experience in CRM and sales operations is a plus
