This role will be responsible for testing the PLMA product line software, specifically Cary WinUV, Cary WinUV Pharma, Cary Eclipse WinFLR, MicroLab PC, MicroLab Pharma, MicroLab Expert, UV-Visible ChemStation, Resolutions Pro and NPI developments. The role will be working with the Marketing Software Customer and Software engineers to ensure the requirements are implemented correctly and meet Agilent’s Quality standards and metrics. The successful candidate requires in-depth knowledge and experience in software test, instrumentation and associated software. You must have a strong attention to detail, can work independently or as part of a team, be a self-starter and demonstrate experience in meeting critical timelines. Software Quality Tester Responsibilities:

  • Entry and classification of defects

  • Ensure story and defects requirements are met

  • Perform regression testing

  • Perform unscripted software thrashing

  • Update test cases when required

  • Update Installation guides and product documentation when required

  • Understand and ensure 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements are met

  • Ensuring quality testing requirements and metrics are met There is the expectation the successful candidate will take on Software Quality Test Lead responsibilities.

Qualifications

A Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent. Typically 4+ years’ relevant experience for entry to this level.
