Position Summary:

We are looking for a number of Territory Managers to join a high performing and close-knit team of subject matter experts whose purpose is to support our customers across Aortic Peripheral Vascular accounts in Melbourne.Territory Managers play a very important part in Medtronic's success. They educate customers, promote our brand and act as trusted partners to our clients through the sale of product portfolios within a defined region. They have the support of a great team of Clinical Educators, Regional Sales Managers and Marketing Specialists to help build the Medtronic brand too.

Main Purpose:

  • To achieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified territory, by promoting defined products to key specialists and technical staff

  • To practice good territory management in terms of organisation, administration and expense planning and control.

  • To train appropriate medical staff and company employees on new products

  • To practice professional and effective territory management in terms of organisation, administration, inventory management and expense planning and control.

  • Ensure that the Company‚Äôs agreed quality standards are maintained with regard to its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact

Skills and Experience:

Ideally you will be a relationship-focused, self-motivated person who takes pride in delivering great service. As a clear, articulate communicator, you can easily liaise with all levels in a hospital environment, from C-level to clinicians. Above all else, you'll love building relationships and can use your existing networks within the healthcare space to excel.

From a technical perspective, we look for candidates who have had successful sales careers in the medical devices or healthcare solutions space. Alternatively, you might be a candidate from the pharmaceuticals industry who has sold into hospitals.
