About the Opportunity: UndergraduateEconomist

We have a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate interested in applyingtheir economics training to real life problems. Forming part of the widerEconomics and Strategic Advisory team, the successful candidate will take acentral role in undertaking research and analytical tasks including market dataanalysis, economic and financial modelling and report writing.

To succeed in this role it is important that you feel comfortablewriting reports as well as undertaking the technical economic modellingincluding cost-benefit analysis. Day to day tasks include providing advice oninfrastructure projects, writing business cases to help state and federalgovernment agencies secure funding and conducting key technical aspects ofprojects with the guidance and support of our senior economists.

  • Complete your degree in 2018

  • Be technically inquisitive

  • Communicate exceptionally well

  • Ask questions and challenge the norm

  • Be able to commence on 27 November 2017 and work through to March 2018

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
