About the Opportunity: UndergraduateElectrical Engineer – Power

Our Transmission & Distribution team partner with regional T&Dclients and national regulators to help address growing demand for additionaltransmission path and distribution capacity, challenging regulatoryrequirements, and replacing damaged or aging infrastructure.

Jacobs provides this support through extensive capital works programsover multiple years; using collaborative work methods we deliver completeutility and infrastructure master planning and program management. We alsoprovide management consulting services as well as organizational and strategicbusiness planning.

Some of the exciting projects that we are currently delivering oninclude:

  • Ground Fault Neutraliser Project for Zone Substation in Victoria

  • 132kV Underground Cable Design Project for Huntingwood, NSW

  • 132kV Underground Cable Design Project in the Perth CBD

  • Structural and Electrical Overhead Line Design and Condition Assessment for South Australia

  • 500kV Tower Testing and Review of Overhead Tower Designs for Indonesia

  • 275kV Tower Design Reviews for Malaysia

About you

  • Be able to commence on 27 November 2017 and work through to March 2018

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
