Position Title Water Resources Engineer

Our Melbourne Office is looking for an experienced Flood/Drainage Engineer/Modeller to work in our Water Resources Team. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work in our multi-disciplinary team on a broad range of projects across the state and Australia!
This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is looking to further develop their technical skill set within the water space. AECOM strongly supports professional development and working as a part of our Water Resources Group will support your career growth.
As part of this role you will undertake:
• Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modelling (flood, drainage);
• Drainage system design and WSUD
• Drainage & coastal investigations and analysis
• Floodplain management studies
• Report writing.
• Project Management and Client Management
Relevant Civil Engineering qualifications
3-5 years’ of experience, in a consulting firm working on medium and large flood projects
High level of proficiency in RORB and TUFLOW is essential
Strong Drainage and WSUD Design
Ability to use Arc GIS and MapInfo
Strong client focus, high level of motivation and dedication and the ability work well in a team environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level inter-personal communication skills
A positive attitude to your work and contribute to a fun team environment
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
Well-developed organisational and time management skills
