Technical Support / Service Administrator

Bose, a market leader in the wholesale distribution of quality audio products, has a unique opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our innovative and progressive organization, who will be part of the Technical Support and Service Team.

Reporting to the Product and Technical Support Manager, the successful applicant will have a passion for Audio/Visual Products and related Technologies. You will have a demonstrated track record in providing high level customer service and achieving operational targets.

This position is located at the Bose head office in Newington.

Key areas of expertise include:

  • Hands on AV product knowledge, the ability to set up Home Entertainment systems

  • Intermediate Working Knowledge on home networking, wireless technology (WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, Airplay etc.)

  • Computer and mobile Devices – MS WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK; Web and database navigation; experience in both Windows and OSX; iOS and Andriod

  • Accurate data entry

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Trouble Shooting skills

• Communication skills: to cater your communication style and speech to customers from various backgrounds

• Empathy, patience and the ability to engage with customers

• Contact Centre/Helpdesk/Customer Facing Experience: familiarity with phone and CRM systems; ability to type, listen and talk at the same time

• Demonstrated experience and skill in handling customer escalations

• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complicated issues on the phone

• Negotiation Skills
