Aligned to key financial services industry groups including wealth and asset management, banking and capital markets, and insurance , we provide integrated advisory, assurance, tax, and transaction services.

EY’s FSO Transaction Advisory Services (FSO TAS) division offers organization's professional transaction advice and support, from the strategic analysis phase of the transaction lifecycle, through execution, to transaction integration and/or divestiture. We provide clients with a single point of contact who is focused on building a strategic relationship to address their transactions needs, and who can help leverage a global network of 5,000 transaction professionals in over 70 countries-to bring the right people and experience to work on every phase of a transaction.

Within EY’s FSO TAS practice, our Operational Transaction Services (OTS) group provides a full range of operationally focused services including operational due diligence, synergy identification & assessment, post merger integration, carve-out support and benefits realisation. Members of our Operational Transaction Services team work directly with our financial services clients, within an engagement team, to deliver our services to our clients.


  • Manage client engagement teams to execute acquisitions and/or divestments.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of integrations, carve-outs, and other types of transaction engagements.

  • Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, including due diligence synergy assessment, project management, problem-solving, and facilitation.

  • Demonstrate transaction and operational knowledge in Financial Services.

  • Assist in identifying risks and issues that may impact the integration or divestiture transaction related to planning, timelines, and the functional areas.

  • Develop effective client relationships at the appropriate client level and be responsible for a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and work products. Assist in business development activities including preparing presentations and attending pursuit meetings with clients to help sell work.

  • Assist in leading internal practice initiatives to support the growth of the FSO OTS practice.

  • Be responsible for fostering an open and inclusive work environment. Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring all levels of staff.


To qualify, candidates must have:

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience;

  • Management consulting experience, ability to demonstrate skills and experience required to operate in a client-facing role

  • Financial Service expertise: has a good level of knowledge in one or more of the financial sectors; banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management, or insurance, with an understanding of its operations, technology, strategy and change

  • Project experience: able to deliver projects undergoing transactions or business transformations (preferred but not necessary)

  • Analysis: Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis. Ability to apply sound financial analysis and a rigorous approach to quantify the impact of operational issues impacted by the transaction
