About the role A senior broking opportunity has become available in our Financial and Professional Services (FINPRO) team. FINPRO is a specialist team who work with clients to facilitate risk identification and assessment, and to provide comprehensive, cost effective solutions to control risk within the Financial and Professional Lines of insurance.
Working as a Principal within this highly successful, dynamic team of professionals, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of high profile key accounts. In this position you will manage all aspects of the insurance cycle.
As a Principal, your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Meeting and exceeding service standards agreed while taking a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients
Ensuring client needs are identified and implement successful account retention and defence strategies
Maintaining an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients
Leading, planning and implementing clear and effective renewal and broking strategies, ensuring renewal performance meets client expectations
Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with insurers, clients and colleagues through regular contact and liaison
Recognising and capitalising upon revenue generation, growth and other opportunities
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar position and will have confidence in broking FINPRO lines for large corporate clients. You will be a positive, hands-on individual who is capable of meeting deadlines and working well under pressure. Using your experience and business qualifications, you will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
You must also be a hands-on individual who is capable of meeting deadlines, working well under pressure and assisting with the development of our junior level account brokers.
Relevant Broking qualifications (Tier 1 Compliance) and related studies are desired.
