Ivy & Jack, located in the heart of Perth's CBD, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join the leadership team in the kitchen.
For this vital role, we’re looking for someone who will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef with all kitchen operations for Ivy & Jack outlet, meeting & event rooms, rooms service, and stewarding with an emphasis on maintaining hygienic standards and practices, employee engagement, and overseeing the preparation and presentation of a consistent food product which meets customer's expectations.
This role reports into the the Head Chef and works with a team of approx 10 in the brigade. You'll be diligent and adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.
Open Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, 7 days a week.

The successful candidate will be a hands on leader with the ability to positively coach and motivate the team to success. Ideally you will be a kitchen leader with a minimum of trade certificate, 6 years experience as a Chef and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. You will be committed to training and development and creating a positive culture. A passion for food, wine and customer service, including awareness and active interest of current consumer trends is a must in this role.
