Fluor HSE and Training Supervisor in Port Hedland, Australia
Our Industrial Services Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
HSE and Training Supervisor on their Rail Maintenance Project located in Port Hedland.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the implementation, management and maintenance of the site Health, Safety, Environment and Training (HSE & T) process, systems and programs. Through the provision of services and support activities that continually enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the operation and in particular the HSE performance.
SPECIFIC ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct, manage and report on all HSE incident investigations inclusive of development and implementation of remedial action
Conduct regular audits of HSE&T and systems, programs and site locations work environments.
Develop and present, innovative ideas and solutions, which provide a balance between productivity and the safety of team members, sub-contractors and visitors.
Develop, implement and support HSE&T education and training programs, to create and improve HSE&T awareness.
Inspect, monitor, control and evaluate HSE&T and Quality processes, systems and programs for value and effectiveness.
Liaise with client, where appropriate, to incorporate changes to site policies/legislation.
Maintaining of records, reports and documents required to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.
Sites designated Return to Work coordinator.
Work activities executed in accordance with Fluor policies and practices.
Support QA Advisor for the on-site Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
Identify opportunities to improve best practice and implement.
Define standardised HSET approaches across the business that are acceptable to Fluor and represent BOP
Ensure appropriate document control processes are managed.
