In line with our vision for growth, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and driven professional to join our growing procurement practice in Brisbane with a focus on reducing costs and improving efficiency with our clients.
As an EY Procurement professional you will:
Work collaboratively with EY and client teams to deliver strategic sourcing and category management projects
Improve value recovery from existing providers, through negotiations, competitive dialogue, and improved controls
Design and implement end-to-end transformation programmes, from strategy through to execution
Enable our clients to effectively grow and optimise their operations in the global market while reducing risk.
Achieve improved efficiency in purchasing and procurement, through process improvement, automation and technology automation
Work with client teams and senior executives, using core consulting skills and our global methodologies to address our client’s biggest operational challenges.
Coach and train junior staff, bringing them along the way and help build their understanding.
We are looking for people who bring the following types of experience and skills:
Strong all round procurement experience in large organisations including the development, implementation and execution of procurement strategies.
Direct experience inside the procurement function of a Blue Chip Industrial Company or mid/top tier consulting firm.
An ability to work within probity and governance procedures relevant to government sector and large private companies
Hold demonstrated skills and experience in cost reduction and operational transformation with the ability to identify how and where to improve a client’s processes and output.
Have operational knowledge as well as a strong understanding of supply chains, processes and systems.
You will also bring relevant project management and leadership experience. You have excellent relationship building and communication skills (oral and written) and are open to travel.
