We are seeking an Accounts Receivable person in our

accounts team. This is a genuine opportunity to develop existing skills in a varied and challenging role.

This role is offered on a part time basis with flexibilty within standard business hours.

Key responsibilities

Manage the debt collection process and maintain debtor days to agreed targets

Processing and generating reminder letters within policy guidelines

Liaising with the Project Sponsors, Managers and other staff to resolve outstanding queries

Ensuring that all clients work to agreed terms.

Daily, weekly and month end reporting

Working to monthly and annual collection and DSO targets as set from time to time

Handle disputed accounts and negotiates to bring payment in10 line with terms

Advising on collection options and where applicable working with the legal team to take appropriate action on default accounts

Liaising with Chennai team to maintain a 'clean' ledger with invoices and credits processed in timely manner

At all times ensure compliance with KBR's policies and procedures, maintaining awareness of changes to internal and external obligations related to credit information

Skills and Experience required

Prior experience in accounts receivable in a corporate environment

Assertive and tenacious able to deal effectively with customers and internal stakeholders

Experience with SAP would be an advantage

Solid skills in excel and other Microsoft packages

Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
