In Australia and Timor-Leste our exciting portfolio includes the Australia Pacific LNG facility in Queensland, the Bayu-Undan gas-condensate field in the Timor Sea, and Darwin LNG facility in the Northern Territory. We also have exploration and appraisal projects off northern Australia including the Greater Poseidon, Caldita-Barossa and Greater Sunrise fields. Reporting to the Materials Supervisor, this position will be a dedicated team member in the Materials Management and Logistics functions to support ongoing operations of the Curtis Island Australia Pacific LNG facility.

Responsible for the day to day activities associated with best in class warehousing and materials management practices as well as logistics functions for Australia Pacific LNG Downstream (APLNG DS) Operations on Curtis Island.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist with the further development, maintenance and continual updating of processes and procedures for the operations of the MM & Logistics Teams for the APLNG DS operations on Curtis Island.

Support materials management, repairs and logistics requirements from Operations, Maintenance and other departments throughout the APLNG facilities to achieve Operational excellence.

Participate in the APLNG Downstream Logistics & Materials Management functions on Curtis Island to support APLNG Downstream Operational excellence.

Contribute to the APLNG DS Operations MM & Logistics teams in safe operations that comply with ConocoPhillips Internal Control Standards and other policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

Assist to create an environment that attracts, retains, motivates and develops people to work as a member of a safe, effective and efficient team.

Build relationships with the key positions in Maintenance, Operations and suppliers.

Participate in the APLNG Downstream Supply Chain out of hour’s roster.

Be available to work in alternative locations when required.

Accountabilites and End Results:

Comply with Company’s policies and procedures.

Assist to maintain and update APLNG Downstream Operations Materials Management and Logistics Procedures.

Ensure warehouse inventory and logistics activities are safely carried out and the facilities are maintained and in compliance with all policies, standards and legislative requirements.

Promote the SPIRIT core values and support 25 Leadership competencies.

Contribute to maintaining and improving KPI’s on Materials Management and Logistics performance.

Help to develop and continuously improve all MM and Logistics functions and their performance.

Take an active role in internal, external and Assurance / P2P and SOX audits.

Actively participate in Supply Chain Management meetings and initiatives when required.

Actively participate in Global and Asia Pacific MM Network of Excellence (NOE).

Maintain relationships with suppliers of services and goods.

Support all other Supply Chain functional areas.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required

Forklift License A minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, logistics. Prior exposure to the requirements of Internal Control Standards and SOX requirements and other policy procedural documents. Understand the end to end supply chain processes within Oil & Gas/Mining or related industries. Best in class warehousing and materials management with particular experience in SAP MM, QA, and PM modules. Strong service orientation and related skills. Adaptability: responds resourcefully, flexibly, and positively when faced with new challengers and demands. Accepts and leads HSE ownership & accountability. Has planning, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Strong communication - both written & oral presentation skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preferred

Prior experience in oil and gas/mining environment

Supervisory Skillls

Mechanical aptitude.

Current DG certification.

Warehouse & Logistics certification.
