About the role

Reporting to the Manager Maintenance at Peak Downs Mine, this high-profile role will see you lead your team to effectively execute all infrastructure maintenance activities; ensuring the successful operation of the mine and its processes. Your responsibilities will include the maintenance of critical site infrastructure including water, power and facilities, as well working with other execution superintendents (Production and Maintenance) to maximize the effectiveness of their resources.

You will use your superior leadership and people management skills to motivate your team and create an environment that promotes diversity and collaboration. You will utilize the experience of your work group to deliver a high level of performance and build effective working relationships with other departments.

You will be required to effectively plan and coordinate resources across maintenance execution departments to achieve the weekly plan, including the management of specialist service contractors. Your success will be measured by your ability to collaborate with execution and planning departments on site, as well as central functions such as Supply. You will also lead the continuous improvement efforts for your team – promoting a manufacturing mindset in the work being delivered.
