About the role

Reporting to our Superintendents of Shutdown Execution, our Supervisors will be fully engaged in all phases of the project lifecycle from planning through execution and close out of dragline and shovel maintenance activities that support our site operations across the Bowen Basin region.

These positions will take ownership and collaborate on pre-start planning, scope of works, vendor and workforce direction in alignment with safety, compliance and project milestones.

The roles will work a 5-2 roster, however roster may flex according to project and site conditions.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate and guide the delivery of the shutdown activities as designed for our assets sites focused on shovels and dragline operations.

  • Initiate and manage vendor and shutdown workforce activities ensuring activities and project milestones are met through trusted relationships

  • Ensure safety, risk, reporting, budgeting and quality compliance data is captured through various reporting systems including 1SAP for visibility and appropriate management of actions

  • Be visible across site, engaged in JSA, permit to work and other related activities relevant to shutdown management and business expectations across projects.

  • Might have a mechanical or electrical trade with heavy industry, shutdown or projects capability
