Overview

Mastercard Loyalty Solutions (MLS) is a leading provider of loyalty and rewards services to merchants and financial institutions across the Asia Pacific region.

Whilst our AP headquarters are in Rozelle, Sydney we are Asia Pacific€™s leading rewards program manager, with a growing footprint across the region into key markets such as China, India, Taiwan, Japan and Australia. Our customer base includes financial institutions and large merchants.

The Issuer Value Proposition (IVP) team provides relationship management for all key issuer / banking accounts across MLS.

Role

In this role you will play a key role in supporting one of our main Issuer clients. As the single point of contact your role is varied and encompasses marketing and communications, product management and relationship management.

Manage ongoing issuer projects, reviewing performance and ensuring quality delivery of products or services through partnership with Regional / in-market Implementation & Operations

Contribute to the Issuer€™s strategic objectives and represent the entire range of loyalty services to the customer, including participating in the customer account planning cycle and ensuring the customers€™ needs and expectations are met

Collaborate with in-market product teams as needed to design comprehensive solutions and strategies to meet the customer€™s objectives and drive the product roadmap/ strategy.

Work closely with the Loyalty business development team, engaging them for contract re-negotiations, RFP€™s and identifying new business opportunities

End to end coordination, creation and production of printed and edms campaigns in consultation with the client, internal stakeholders and external agencies

Through your analytical problem solving and leveraging of data to provide market insights you will determine and recommend products for promotion and/or refresh to meet the client€™s needs

Instigate and execute activities in consultation with the Category Manager to source new products and rewards for inclusion in the client€™s program catalogue

Creation of internal and external matrixes for campaigns and ongoing range, including definition of prices for the products offered in the program, checking of margins and price changes to make sure the required margins are maintained

Primary responsibility for Loyalty customer segment P & L and driving profitable revenue growth. Understand detailed financial levers within the business and can accurately report on these internally and to the issuer with corrective action recommendations.

Create budgets (by a product/solution) and forecasts and manages to revenue targets.

Alignment with Product on revenue targets for product to assist with Program Content Strategy

All About You

This role will suit candidates with who have some previous account management and/or have some product related experience and are looking to take the next step in their career

Candidates who have worked within financial services, cards, payment or other related fields are highly desirable

Due to the deliverables of this role, candidates will also need to have had exposure to marketing and communications in their previous roles

Previous experience (or exposure to ) managing, or understanding of P&L responsibilities whilst not essential is highly advantageous

Basic understanding of all of Mastercard Sales and Customer delivery disciplines

Demonstrated success in managing small parts of projects

Shows advanced capacity to interpret market data to develop customer specific recommendations

A willingness to remain up to date with and understand market conditions, competitor activity to provide your client with robust analysis regarding recommendations

Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
