KBR is looking for experienced and qualified Construction Managers for an opportunity in Adelaide.
We are the Program Managers for the development of the mine infrastructure for a copper/Gold mine in South Australia.
Project scope includes project and portfolio management, engineering design and construction management for the process plant, mine access and all mine infrastructures excluding the mine. KBR will be supplying Project Management and Construction Management expertise for this work.
This role will be responsible for the delivery of the process plant and related infrastructure.
Overseeing the construction of the mineral processing plant and related infrastructure
Overseeing construction teams associated with construction activity
Reporting progress, manning and on site productivity reporting
Promoting and ensuring compliance with all company and client policies and procedures
Ensuring safe workplace practices are strictly adhered to by all those under their control and
best trade and HSE practises are performed in accordance with the relevant project and construction standards and specifications
Ensuring all QA/QC inspections and testing is performed in accordance with the relevant Quality Plan
Promoting and maintain a positive and respectful team environment for all those under their control and mentoring construction teams to ensure competency in their roles
Monitoring the performance of construction progress
Promoting and maintaining an environment of continuous improvement
To be considered for the opportunity applicants must hold a Qualification in Engineering or Construction Management (Bachelor degree minimum) and possess a minimum of 15 years’ experience in construction, a minimum of 12 years’ experience in mineral processing and materials handling projects in a mining environment and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction supervisory or construction management positions.
