The role of an internal recruitment consultant is constantly changing. Sourcing relevant candidates isn’t always easy and, in this role, you’ll need to be creative and be comfortable speaking with both active and passive candidates in both the campus and lateral space.
In your role as a joint Campus & Lateral Recruitment Senior Consultant you'll work closely with business stakeholders and the Oceania Campus & Lateral Recruitment team to design and deliver recruitment campaigns to attract and recruit the best student talent to EY. From a lateral perspective you will be recruiting for Advisory in Adelaide & Darwin, and for campus you will be the point of contact for all Campus hires across EY’s 4 service lines.
Key responsibilities include
Building relationships with internal stakeholders and ensuring recruitment activities are aligned to business priorities
Managing recruitment campaigns for lateral and graduate roles for relevant business areas from initial attraction through to onboarding
Use a broad range of sourcing channels to identify relevant candidates for current and future vacancies at EY
Develop and maintain talent pools for your client groups
Be comfortable leveraging social media to source candidates
Be comfortable networking and connecting with new people/relevant candidates either virtually or face to face.
Provide excellent and insightful candidate service to all candidates
Build relationships with university stakeholders
Organise and facilitate assessment centres
Deliver presentations and workshops on campus and internally
Skills and attributes for success
To be successful in this role you will have previous lateral internal recruitment or search experience as well as experience in high volume recruitment (ideally in a campus or student recruitment environment).
You will be a confident communicator and presenter with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. You will have the ability to build relationships and work as part of a team, be adaptable and skilled at managing multiple priorities. You’ll get ongoing support and guidance but you need to be able to work effectively on your own with minimal guidance. You’ll also be comfortable working in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
