Due to recent project wins, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal Structural Engineer based in our Adelaide office. As a senior member of the team and with a focus on Building Structures, you will enjoy a challenging role working on a variety of buildings and infrastructure projects. You will join an experienced team of professionals who strive to achieve the high quality project delivery that KBR is renowned for.
Provide the project lead role on structural engineering design during concept, design development, detailed design and construction phases of buildings structures projects
Lead all aspects of project delivery including preparation of concept sketches, reports and technical specifications and oversee the preparation of contract documentation
Manage the delivery of assigned projects
Be responsible for managing and developing Client relationships
Lead and participate in the development of bids and proposals
Mentor junior staff
years experience in structural analysis and design on commercial, retail and institutional projects
Design experience in reinforced and post-tensioned concrete and structural steelwork
Ability to liaise with clients, statutory authorities and other consultants in a collaborative team environment
Proficiency with the use of design software, such as ETABS, RAM Concept and RAPT
Tertiary qualifications in structural engineering
Experience suitable to achieve Chartered Engineers status. Holding Chartered status is preferred.
