A great opportunity exists for a highly motivated Project Engineer to join KBR to work client side in an integrated Program Management Office within SA Water’s Capital Planning and Delivery team.
The Project engineer will be working closely with project managers to successfully deliver large programs of work.
About the role
Working within the team who are responsible for the effective management of
SA Water Capital works program you will have a wide range of responsibilities including
Assist in defining the scope of works for various projects
Management of RFI processes and registers
Monitor project progress and preparation of monthly reports
Assist with management of risk registers
Completion of close out documentation as required at project completion
Assist with managing contractual variations
Coordination of works with plant operators
Demonstrate commitment to meeting the undertakings of KBR HSE and Quality Policies.
Be accountable to the project manager for completion of tasks within agreed timeframes
Positively contribute to the office cultural framework displaying behaviours of accountability, open communication, data integrity and continuous improvement.
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with our client and key delivery partners
Ongoing professional development within the Project Management industry.
Qualifications and Experience
Engineering any discipline (4 year) or Construction Management (4 year) degree or equivalent
Knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle
Knowledge of engineering design processes for infrastructure projects
Contract management experience
AIPM/PMI Membership and advantage
Excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of stakeholder management.
