About the opportunity
Our Industrial team have secured a number of new projects within the Mining & Minerals sector. Based in South Brisbane, the key objective of the Graduate Project Engineer will be to provide support to the Program Manager, who is responsible for delivering programs of small to medium size projects. You will have the opportunity to manage your own small projects, with support and guidance from the PM. On occasion, you will be required to do some discipline specific engineering and supervision.
This role is ideally suited for a civil/structural engineer wanting to transition from a discipline role into a Project Management role. You will be organised, flexible and extremely empathetic towards client needs, as work flow is based on performance to deliver on time. Role requirements include:
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil / Structural)
RPEQ (or able to achieve within 6 months)
Exposure to the mining industry (Ideal)
Previous team management or supervisor experience (Preferred)
MS Project / Aconex / 12D
