The Project Support Officer is responsible for supporting the National Clinical Quality Performance and Innovation Manager in the efficient and effective operations of a high quality health service across MAX Solutions Health nationally.

  • Supporting the Manager in their management of a national high quality allied health service

  • Monitoring and reporting statistics and research in relation to the provision of Health Services as per Company guidelines

  • Developing guidelines, policies and training tools to ensure best practice service to clients within strict time frames

  • Developing relationships with key agencies, universities and organisations

  • Assisting in the identification of gaps in procedures in order to support high quality allied health services

  • Assisting management with staff training, professional development and mentoring of allied health staff

  • Advising the Manager on areas pertaining to the provision of Health services (ie resources, professional and ethical issues)

  • Promoting MAX Solutions Health services and maintaining a high profile and professional company image

  • Participating in professional development and training as required

  • Involvement and participation in meetings and functions as required

  • Contributing in the proposals for future Health Services businesses


  • Qualifications in Psychology or another allied health discipline essential.

  • Research or training experience is also highly desirable

  • Demonstrated ability to develop policies, procedures and best practice documents

  • Ability to training, mentor and coach staff under the guidance of the Manager

  • Outcome focussed and goal orientated

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships with key stakeholders

  • Understanding of barriers to employment and effects of unemployment

  • Effective, positive problem solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills including the ability to work to schedules and reporting deadlines

  • Commercial and labour trends awareness

  • Have a solutions-focussed innovative approach to practice which links to sustainable employment solutions

  • Ability to demonstrate experience in evidence based assessments and intervention and rehabilitation

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation

  • Computer skills - Intermediate Microsoft Office

  • Ability to travel within a geographical territory as well as intra-state and interstate travel as required

  • Ability to attend meetings, training or professional development outside normal business hours.
