We are currently recruiting a Custom Implant Designer to join our team in Sydney! You will join an international network of designers serving the American, European and South Pacific markets.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Design individual implants for neuro and oral and maxillofacial surgeons in our patient-specific product team

  • After intensive training conducted by our development engineers, you will prepare medical image data with our special software and create three-dimensional anatomical models of the respective patients

  • Your core task will be to subsequently design patient-specific implants, which you may discuss with the attending surgeon as required and add change requests if necessary

  • You will prepare the data for production after approval by the surgeons and you will be the point of contact in the internal process organization

  • Communicating with the interface areas, such as Customer Service, Production and the qualified medical staff will round off your job profile

Experience needed:

  • You will have completed training as a medical-technical radiology assistant (MTRA), draughtsperson or designer or have a comparable qualification and have completed engineering or scientific studies

  • CAD experience

  • Ideally you will have already gained some professional experience working with medical image data

  • You enjoy quickly and easily gaining an understanding of new computer programs, working very precisely and you have a strong sense of responsibility

  • You will impress with your strong customer focus and your open and communicative personality

  • Strong communication skills
