as a Crowne Meetings & Wedding Coordinator at Crowne

Plaza Surfers Paradise. You’ll have ambition and talent, key skills and

this vital role we’re looking for someone who will use their

knowledge and experience to ensure smooth and efficient service for

all of our Conference & Events at the hotel.

Reporting to the Crowne Meetings Manager, you will be part of a dynamic

team that are responsible for responding to and converting wedding, conference

and event enquiries. This also includes day meetings and social events. As

Crowne Weddings and Meetings Coordinator, 60% of your work will be dedicated to

weddings and 40% of your work will be dedicated to Conference and Events. You

will work with the Crowne Meetings Manager to manage events ensuring

deadlines and budgets are achieved. You will have a complete understanding of

food & beverage operations within a functions and conferencing environment

and ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external

stakeholders whilst maintaining a focus on providing an exceptional service



Ideally, you'll have a Bachelor's degree in Events and minimum 2

year post graduate work experience, excellent communication skills, written

& oral with proficiency in English, excellent presentation skills and be

competent using Microsoft office programmes.

In addition, you will have experience working with Delphi and

understanding an event calendar and group accommodation blocks to ensure

maximum occupancies. You will also have demonstrated ability to thoroughly

qualify enquiries and drive conversion. You will have an understanding of what

it takes to deliver exceptional conference and event experiences for clients

from various market segments.
