The role of the Assistant Marketing Manager is to support the Marketing Manager with the implementation and execution of the Balance Transfer and Instalment Loan (Fixed Payment Option) marketing programs.

Campaign Management

Manage the implementation and execution of monthly marketing campaigns to achieve Plan targets. This includes end to end campaign management across channels such as Direct Mail, Emails, Online, Social and SMS to drive target response rates. This involves managing the creative with any updates or testing required that month, reviewing the campaign data, lodging e via Salesforce and managing the relationship with the mailhouse and media agency to ensure campaigns lodge without delay and accurately. Organisation and attention to detail is essential.

Creative testing

Support the Digital Campaign Manager in executing the digital strategy, A/B and multivariate tests and opportunities to drive digital penetration and conversion using Adobe Target, Site Catalyst, Salesforce and Oracle BlueKai (DMP).

Campaign performance management

Track and provide insights on campaign results and creative testing including CTR, open rates and take up/conversion. Also support the Marketing Manager in analysing existing data trends and profit modelling new tests to improve performance and response rates utilising the Decision Management Dashboards.

Competitor Analysis

Conduct research to understand market trends and monitor competitor activities in relation to Balance Transfer & FPO programs. Utilise market research services where available.

Financial Targets

Support the Marketing Manager to execute the overall strategy for Balance Transfer & FPO programs to achieve KPIs relating to portfolio performance by ensuring campaigns are lodged on time and updating collateral to reflect pricing model/segmentation between different Card Portfolios.

Reporting and MIS

Support the Marketing Manager to maintain monthly business reporting including sales numbers and what initiatives have driven results.

Financial Management

Support the Marketing Manager to manage marketing budgets and meet all reporting deadlines. Manage all invoices, monthly accrual and PO process for Portfolio campaigns.

Stakeholder Relationship

Work closely with key internal stakeholders to gain support for campaign delivery including Product and Partner Teams, Digital Banking, Decision Management, Risk, Telesales, Operations, Vendors and other cross functional teams in addition to external agencies.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary education – degrees in marketing and communications would be well regarded.

  • 1 - 4 years’ experience in marketing preferably in the finance industry. Digital Marketing experience is preferred.

  • Energy, enthusiasm and excellent communications skills.

  • Good project management and time management skills.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.

  • Ability adapt to changing environments.

  • Innovative, creative thinker who is proactive.

  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
