The Business Development Manager will focus on effectively acquiring new-to-bank customers for Diners Club in order to deliver strategic new business growth in the Corporate cards sector using expert business development and relationship selling skills.

In this role some of your accountabilities will include:

  • Business Development

  • Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline, and ensuring all new opportunities and leads are actioned

  • Proactively developing and fostering strategic relationships with industry partners and third party suppliers to maximise business opportunities for both parties and deliver enhanced value propositions

  • Fostering networking relationships with industry partners and third party suppliers to maximise business opportunities for both parties and deliver enhanced value propositions

  • Completing reporting requirements in a timely and detailed manner including but not limited to weekly reporting (WIP), prospect database, pipeline and performance management documentation

  • Developing cross functional / cross team relationships to ensure opportunities are booked

Qualifications

Key Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial card products, systems and processes

  • Extensive experience in corporate business development and relationship management

  • Experience with a CRM database

  • Understanding of compliance & HR procedures

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven problem solving abilities including negotiation skills

  • Ability to understand corporate financial business drivers and technology needs

  • Proven experience and track record in Sales

  • Ability to respond to issues and deadlines with a sense of urgency
