Lenovo Commercial Marketing Specialist in Sydney, Australia

Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Marketing Specialist to play a critical role in supporting the B2B Marketing Managers. This exciting role exists for a creative, innovative and enthusiastic marketing professional, who is looking for a role to develop their career. The successful candidate will have an integral role to play in the marketing team. You will create, implement and report on marketing campaigns that maximise lead generation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordination of localisation of Global and AP assets

  • diverse campaign planning and coordination

  • advertising and promotion execution

  • budget administration and stewardship of internal tools and processes

  • development of online and offline marketing materials

  • internal and external stakeholder management including external agencies

  • planning and coordination of events

  • performance and budget reporting

  • compliance and policy adherence for campaigns with alliance partners

  • Lead management

To be successful you will have a proven track record of implementing marketing campaigns coupled with well developed communication and interpersonal skills. A relevant marketing qualification and demonstrated administrative skills. Essential is your strong ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple tasks. Experience with marketing automation platforms (Eloqua) and CRM tools (SFDC) is a must.

This role has responsibility for supporting the Enterprise and SMB marketing and communication activity which supports driving revenue through new sales and retention activity, and developing the Lenovo brand.

You will work with stakeholders and peers across marketing, sales channels, product management, and partners to enable success.

You will be responsible for executing overall go-to-market campaigns for key vertical segments and executing B2B marketing campaigns to generate marketing qualified sales leads. This position will require the development of marketing campaigns for Lenovo’s suite of hardware and services solutions including our award winning Think PC products to generate and nurture outbound and inbound leads.

Demand generation campaigns include email, direct mail, collateral, website, SEO, social marketing, events, blogs, display advertising, and more. You will have a major impact on the growth of Lenovo and the success of the ANZ Commercial sales force.

  • Experience building integrated online campaigns.

  • Knowledge of best practices in B2B demand generation, marketing automation and lead nurturing

  • Knowledge and experience with segmenting customers with RAD differentiated marketing plans and strategies

  • Budget management required.

  • Knowledge and experience with Marketing Automation Platforms and CRM Tools

  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work cross-functional & internationally

  • Deep technical skills are not required but an affinity to and passion for technology is essential

  • Knowledge of PC plus enterprise server and storage market required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Organised, used to working under pressure and tight timelines

  • Experience in supporting a marketing function within a software/hardware vendor

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management

  • Strong teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.

  • Good knowledge of PC technology and associated market trends.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with Sales Managers

  • Problem solving and “Out of the Box” thinking

  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Skills (particularly Excel and Powerpoint)

  • SFDC experience

  • Marketing Diploma or Bachelor degree
