Join us as

a Concierge at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay located in Sydney’s exclusive

leafy green Eastern Suburbs. You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some

key skills to join our friendly and professional Concierge team. Because, for

this vital role, we’re looking for someone who will create moments that make

guests feel special providing memorable InterContinental guest experiences.

You will

offer our discerning guests with an unforgettable luxury experience and you

will provide information and assistance to InterContinental Sydney Double Bay

guests ensuring the highest standard of service and professionalism at all


You will have the ability to offer

insightful and bespoke recommendations based on individual guests preferences

and be able to maintain a high

level of product and service knowledge in order to best serve and facilitate

guest requests.

You will report to the Chef Concierge and as an ambassador of

the hotel, you'll be the one who will develop and build strong

and positive relationships with our guests to ensure that their

stay is memorable. Other key responsibilities of the

role include assisting guests with all their inquiries, and providing

detailed knowledge of the hotel's activities for the day, key

occurrences in your city/location, transport information, location of major

buildings and places of interest, etc. to our guests. In addition

you will be required to manage guest mails, messages, telexes,

facsimiles, courier services, etc.


You'll have a confident and enthusiastic approach

matched with a warm, friendly and down to earth personality. You’ll have good

communication and interpersonal skills, be physically fit and able to carry,

push or lift heavy suitcase and packages as required. You will put our guests

at the heart of everything you do and have a genuine care of people and the

hospitality industry! Ideally, you will have experience in guest services, be

flexible with your working hours and a NSW manual driver's license is a must.

Your knowledge of Sydney will be a key asset to this role. Luxury brand

experience is desirable as is previous experience in a similar role.
