Our Wyndham Sydney resort is within walking distance to Hyde Park and the CBD, we are looking for a Front Office Supervisor that thrives on providing exceptional customer service to join our fantastic team!

What is the role?

As the front Office Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring theefficient day to day operation of the reception desk including greeting andregistering of owners and guests, providing information to local areaattractions, administration, as well as managing any guest issues that mayarise. You will also assist the Front Office Manager in building, developing, training and leading a team proactivelyto promote high levels of customer service and actively contributing to thecompany vision of making holiday dreams come true.

What we looking for?

To be considered for this great opportunity it is essentialthat you have the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in a front office department at a supervisory leveleither as a Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Duty Manager

  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems, Hirum preferred

  • Excellentcommunication skills, written, verbal and active listening

  • Detail focused with an organised approach and ability tomultitask

  • Positive attitude, vibrant and passionate about deliveringexceptional customer service and exceeding expectations

  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to workunder pressure

  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills

  • Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office applications

  • Immaculate presentation and grooming standards

  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends andschool and public holiday periods

  • The capability to work in a fast-paced environment both aspart of a team and autonomously

  • Valid driver’s licence is essential

  • Senior First Aid Certificate

  • Tertiary qualifications are highly regarded
